ABOUT
The website before you aims to educate people on self esteem and ways to improve it. In particular, my target audiences are middle school and early high school students, because self esteem significantly decreases during those periods.
Each page records different methods of improving self esteem, with resources and subpages listed as hyperlinks. The information on my website has been fact checked by Julie West, a marriage and family therapist. My sources are also listed in navigation.
My website is a Girl Scout Gold Award project, aiming to address the epidemic of low self esteem in my community. Many people I know, including myself, have struggled with this issue for many years. The methods on this website have helped me, and I want to spread that knowledge to as many people as I can.
SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Madelynn Horne helped me navigate WordPress, set up security, and come up with ideas for each page. I could not have done this project without you, and I am so grateful.
Julie West not only reviewed a large amount of information, but also showed me a tremendous amount of support. Thank you for encouraging me and using this website as a resource.
Debbie Werolin is my project advisor, and she urged me on through thick and thin. Many times I felt as though the website would never get done, but she never doubted me. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
